    Razan Janbein

Lionel Andres Messi is an argentine professional football player as a forward and captain both Spanish club “Arselo” and the Argentina national team.

Messi was born on June 24,1987 and raised in central Argentina. He was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency as a child. At age13 he relocated to Spain to join Barcalona team who agreed to pay for his medical treatment.

Messi’s footballing careers started in 1995 at “Newells” old boys, where he played until the year 2000. After a fast progression through Barcallona’s youth academy Messi made his competitive debut aged 17 in October 2004.

Messi has spent his entire professional career with Barcelona where he won a club record of 32 trophies. Messi has scored more then 588 goals in his club and country career. Messi has scored 81 out of 100 champions league goals with his left foot and runs about 32km/hr with the ball at his feet.

In conclusion, Messi is a great person and a great role model. Many people look up to him and he is very successful in what he does. If he wasn’t here today, we wouldn’t have a great person to play soccer and to understand what soccer is about.
